What do you think about this #slashtherisk campaign from Viva! ?

I’m seeing a lot of similar comments from vegans that they are less (or not) prone to getting sick from COVID or even getting infected with the virus in the first place. A lot of ‘vegans are invincible’ stuff, which is simply not true and can even be dangerous. Dangerous not only for themselves, but also for the spread of the virus.

The ‘evidence’ for the claim that you can reduce your risk of severe COVID-19 is at best very indirect and to me this is on the edge of being misleading. And what about the backlash when some of the people conviced with these health claims end up hospitalised anyway?

Veganism is about justice for other animals. That is totally missing here.
