Bodyshaming – another one

Bodyshaming 🌿🌿 is deeply problematic and unfortunately present at several segments of the vegan movement.

Bodyshaming in the vegan community – – I’ll have to rely on automated ID for this one – or someone willing to provide ID

It marginalises fat vegans, it makes them feel unwelcome in the movement. It is also not effective, and even counterproductive.

➡️➡️ Veganism is about animal rights. Focus on the animal rights issue, not on shaming people for their appearance. ⬅️⬅️

  • ➡️Body size does not equal health
  • ➡️Body size does not equal moral worth
  • ➡️Vegans come in all sizes and shapes.
