Gorillas in ‘zoo’ test positive for coronavirus

We destroy the habitat of other animals.
Ship them to other continents.
Imprison them in cramped spaces to have humans stare at them, in the name of education.
Make them breed in the name of conservation.

And then make them ‘sitting ducks’ to be wiped out by a human caused pandemic. If not by this virus, then surely by one of the next viruses emerging from the Animal Industrial Complex.

Note: ‘sitting ducks’ in between quotation marks as that is a speciesist phrasing.
