Hasal Kizil makes devices for injured animals

Video about Hasal Kizil (Turkey) who makes prosthetics, carts and other devices for disabled/injured animals.

[Image preview: Middle-aged appearing man with brown/dark hair and beard, beige shirt, looking down to a black and white cat, held up with his hand close to his chest]

Video has captions.
Video Title: Fixing limbs. Helping injured animals walk again.

The video is also available on the website of the BBC. Note how the title in the video on the BBC website is different: Repairing limbs. Helping injured animals to walk again. It now says ‘repairing’ instead of ‘fixing’.  ‘Fixing’ is said to be ableist language. It implies the person with a disability is broken, deficit. But is ‘repairing’ a better choice? (see some thoughts e.g. here and here). Do the animals need ‘fixing’?
